Community Baby Shower for Wythe County Foster Families Join us for a Community Baby Shower honoring and supporting foster families through the Wythe County Department of Social Services! We’re kicking off Foster Care Awareness Month a little early with a special gathering on the last weekend of April.
Thanks to the generosity of Open Door Café, we’ll be gathering in a welcoming space with delicious finger foods as we come together to love on and support the families who care for children in our community.
Gifts:Please bring an unwrapped gift, just as you would for a traditional baby shower. An Amazon registry is also available, and all items purchased will be shipped directly to Wythe County DSS to support local foster families.
Clothing Donations:Presbyterian Children’s Home – Foster’s Closet will be on site! Please feel free to support their wonderful organization by bringing gently used children’s clothing and shoes. All donations go right back into our local community.
