Social Work Appreciation

Social Work Month, observed throughout March, uplifts the social workers and other child welfare workers in our communities and celebrates their constant contributions to our society. These professionals bring their whole hearts and professional skills in psychology and sociology to solve social issues and improve the lives of kids and family – and it’s no easy feat! In partnership with our local faith communities, businesses and nonprofit partners, VKB works to recognize child welfare workers during March. We are looking for volunteers to write notes, support special events, and provide small gifts for the workers in your community. Volunteers are needed.
