I Belong Project

As Director (or Director’s Designee) of the Child Welfare Division of the Department of Social Services, I do hereby grant Virginia’s Kids Belong, America’s Kids Belong, and the I Belong Project, permission to feature

in all recruitment efforts.

I understand his/her image will be featured in traveling galleries, on adoption recruitment related websites, in select media and social media outlets, and in print materials developed by Virginia’s Kids Belong, America’s Kids Belong, and the I Belong Project.

I understand his/her image may continue to be shown for a period of time regardless of whether a family is found for the child/youth or if the plan for the child/youth changes.

This permission is granted without restriction. I agree to hold Virginia’s Kids Belong, America’s Kids Belong, the I Belong Project, and the agency having legal custody or guardianship of the child/youth harmless from any legal or financial claim, lawsuit, or future liability concerning the child/youth’s image or any use thereof.

The undersigned does hereby consent to the photographing, filming and/or videotaping of the child/youth listed above and does hereby authorize Virginia’s Kids Belong, America’s Kids Belong, and the I Belong Project to cause the same to be exhibited as film, videotape, still photographs, dvds, digital images and transparencies in an annual report, newsletter, press release, television presentation, or other filmed, social or printed media.

The undersigned does hereby release Virginia’s Kids Belong, America’s Kids Belong, and the I Belong Project and all their affiliates and assignees from any and all claims whatsoever arising out of, related to or based on the use of said material.
